Dr. Ratajczak co-founded BrainWorks Ventures while serving as director of the Economic Forecasting Center at Georgia State University. He retired from this position in June 2000 after 27 years, and remains as the Regent's Professor of Economics Emeritus at the university. Under his leadership, the Center achieved eminence in economic forecasting. In 1994, Dr. Ratajczak won the Blue Chip award for forecasting accuracy during the previous four years at the Center. His forecasts have been a primary source of information for the U.S. Federal Reserve, major Wall Street financial firms, and Fortune 500 companies. He has been asked to provide testimony before the U.S. Congress on many economic issues and has been an advisor to the Council of Economic Advisors and the Congressional Budget Office. Dr. Ratajczak received his bachelor's degree from Haverford College and his Ph.D. from MIT.
